The purpose of the Stone Fruit Survey is to detect new infestations of targeted stone fruit pest species at low population levels. Stone fruits include almonds, apricots, sweet and sour cherries, nectarines, peaches, plums, and prunes. The Stone Fruit Survey Reference provides standardized guidelines for conducting a Stone Fruit detection survey in the United States and its territories.
